Hi, we just brought home Roman this past weekend from a rescue. He is 4.5 months old. What are your thoughts - is he a Dutch Shepherd? I'm thinking a mix, especially with those ears! He is very, very smart and eager to please us. He weighs about 25-30 lbs and stands at 21" tall (foot to top of back). He's such a joy - he has captured our hearts so easily.
Thank you!
Shelly (and Roman)

What a cutie!!! I see why he's captured your hearts already. I don't see anything that really says Dutch shepherd to me, could be from another breed with brindle varieties like terriers or pitties? But I'm no expert, maybe others will weigh in with more knowledge. Feel free to post more pics, like a standing shot from the side so we can see his profile and head shape. And another pic of that happy smile just because
