Sorry for the delayed welcome, happy to see a new member! Getting a new puppy is such an exciting time--and a very exhausting time. It takes a lot of training and relationship-building, be prepared, haha. What kind of DS are you getting? Our DS is theoretically bred to be a family dog, but he is still a strong-willed crazy athlete. Any dog hobbies you're hoping to try?

Hi Jean512
We are getting a family dog, not sure I know what dog hobbies are! He will mostly be for company, getting me out and about, looking after our property and a nuisance to our Cane Corso who is getting on in years and can do with someone to keep her on her toes.

Maybe that will be plenty of activity for your dog! I only got into dog hobbies because our lil dude doesn't otherwise have a "job" to do for fulfillment. Canicross, bikejoring, obedience tests such as BH, etc.
