Eva...I"m not sure where I got this collar, someplace in CT. I try to remember to take it off when it's raining or for swimming...just like you said, the leather rotts too easily.

I had to give Maverick an egg after watching the vid and reading this thread. Mavy did pretty much the same thing as Geyser does. He gently took the egg then ran to his fave spot in the backyard and put it down, he very gently tried to bite it and it didn't work. He then ran to a different spot in the yard gently carrying the egg, he finally managed to break a hole in it then licked it until all the egg was gone and ate the shell. I still can't get over how gentle he was,it's almost like he knew the egg would break and make a mess.

No shortage, they get them often--just easier for me to mix them into their breakfast as Bianca won't eat the shell if I don't break it all up.

This video and all of your stories were so cute, so we just had to try it. Sure enough, Beta just loved the eggs! Just like the rest of your pups, she took it ever so gingerly in her mouth. But, she licked and licked that egg, rolled it around in the grass. Finally we just put a tiny hole on one end so she could get a taste. Pretty soon she made that hole a bit bigger and quickly gobbled up the insides. Then she ran over and ate Puddles' egg....she only ate a wee bit of shell though....

We'll be trying this again to see if she figured it all out with this one try. (pretty sure she'll do it, she's a pretty smart girl)

Sadie gets right into it. Thalie dosnt like the shells though.
