Tracking is our strength
I only get minimally nervous about that as he has an amazing working nose.

OB is my freak out disaster
Today we see what happens.
I know where we'll definately loose points. Hopefully I won't loose us any extra, and hopefully my nerves won't send Force into a crazey do something else vortex !!!!
Fingers crossed he also stays with me.

Will update everyone later with more details.
Keep those good thoughts coming !!!!

:music2: Message to Force:Dude, you gonna help your mommy out. You know what you are suppose to do out there. Just do it and no freaking crazy shit! or :twak:

:music2: Message to Jenny: Have a schnaps or two to calm down your nerves. I am sure that's what the German and Dutch do. :pint:

DARN !!! Didn't get this post until after the trial.
Schnaps for the next trial it is !!!!!!!!!

Regardless we survived !
Lost points where I thought we would, plus a few extras for additions from Force
Happy to report I didn't cause any extra point loss.
So we have more stuff to work on for the next trial.

So TRK = 96, OB = 84, PRO = 82 Total 262 and our 2nd IPO3 title :D :cheer: :D
Made it through our first championship event successfully.

I didn't take any pics but a friend was so I'm sure there'll be some to share later :D
The event was VERY well run.
Glad I was part of it despite my nerves and baby dog. He was the youngest IPO3 dog, in fact I believe only one of the IPO1 dogs was younger than him and she was pulled.

Tracking today .... the IPO2 Mal had a great start, 1st article perfect, awesome first corner but sadly got a little distracted halfway down the 2nd leg. Did some circling and ate "something" ( grass ? weeds? bugs? ), then had no intrest in getting back to work.
The IPO2 GSD started the 1st leg but not very strongly, then lost what little intrest he had.

IPO3's - Borious almost made it through phase 'C' . After the long bite ( courage test ) and then the re-attack & drive he was doing a super job of guarding after the 'out' but then decided he wanted the sleeve, so re-gripped, would not 'out' it again so dismissed.
Yoschy was unable to catch the helper within the allotted distance on the escape.

Oh crap! I feel for the handlers. There is so much time and sweat going into the training.

Do you happen to know who took home the Top DS trophy? Just wondering because we sponsored it.

Thankyou so much !
I'm thrilled to say the least.

Force was the youngest IPO3 entry and I believe the second youngest dog in the trial.
3yrs and 2mths old. With a first time SchH dog trainer/handler.
WOW ! Is all I can say about the whole thing
Amazed we could be part of a Championship and be successful !

What a super breed we are all lucky to have in our lives !
