i know the people from the mondioring training more than well... we trained a long time togehter BUT dirk and his team ARE NEVER EVER TOO HARD AND UNFAIR to the dogs !!!!

but fips (the female) is a very strong and hard dog- he is not trained for mondioring competitions, he do that just 4 fun! little biting and it´s ok.

"c" the small female - she has a very nice and social character! for mondioring cat. 1 she is realy good, maybe cat. 2 ... yes she is high drived (maybe more than a lot of NHC dogs) but she has no problems with the grip, nut she has a realy small mouth.

i don´t know what you want - the dogs there ok! and the handlers as well!

it´s everytime funny when people see something, have no plan about it and judge them...

totally agree with you, that is what I wrote, they are fair to the dogs and have a very nice way of rewarding after very short exercises, different to a lot of $%&^*# I've seen in other sports

I'm not sure which dog you are referring too? A DS or a Mali? For DS I only saw a small female (you said her name is "C"), and a male DS?

I did not say otherwise I only mentioned the female was too nervous for ME, that certainly does not make it a bad dog Or a bad handler?

It just was not as exciting as we thought, we went there, full of questions about this relatively new sport, but did not have our questions answered, that was a bit dissappointing. Also, training was a bit slow that day, maybe because it was the last day of a training weekend? Like I also mentioned, the group in Berlin inspired me more at that time, even when they didn't do a lot of bitework (had no helper that day)

Maybe you can tell us some more about the sport, like the biggest differences in exercises between French Ring and Mondio ring? (maybe open a new topic...?)

you have a lot of differences between mondioring (=MR), french- and belgium ring and KNPV. in the moment we have a couple of MR groups in germany. some are good, other not realy good...

most of the IPO guys tell us we are just playing with the dogs, because we don´t need the correct IPO heeling and we lost no points in a competition when the grip is not full. and there are a lot of preconceptions. so the most of the mondioring guys are tired to hear this and tired to speak about that.
