Yes, there are a lot of lakes in Lapeer/Lapeer County. It's a good thing too because Odin loves swimming. We're only about a 1/2 mile from a beach here that I can take him to.
. I miss lots of things about Michigan tho...including the lakes and never had any trouble with ticks when my GSD and I used to summer up at the tip of the thumb on lake Huron.
