My pitty counter surfs so i know not to put anything there but Layla does climb on chairs and tables. I always thought it was because she followed Morley around and he thinks he is a cat!

Btw..this are my dogs..minus my pitty mix and my crochetty old bat.
From L to R: lou is my daughter's dog. Layla and then Morley her partner in crime. Morley was found tied to my clinic one day last year and then got a chemical burn in his eyes at an adoption event (no one is fessing up to that one)...months of round the clock eye drops and he is now good to go. All muts all rescues!

Odin doesn't counter surf. He never has. He won't even jump out of a 2' xpen here. He's never been taught not to do it, but he's a goody goody when it comes to things like that. Elli is the queen of counter surfing, opening the fridge, closets, cabinets, anything. Rules and limits don't phase her.

Odin has started using that to his advantage. Last night, he really wanted to lick my bowl and I told him no, put it on the counter for later, and went to the other room for a second. Not a second later, I heard a thud and Elli is on the counter throwing the bowl down to him and keeping the spoon for herself. As soon as Odin saw that I witnessed the whole thing, he walked away ashamed and put himself to bed before I could even say anything or laugh.
