It’s minor improvement, but improvement none the less. Odin is crate trained and when he would hear one of the cat’s meows, he would go semi ballistic in his crate. Now…he hears them and 98% of the time he does not make a sound. YAY!!!!! For now, his crate is where he cannot see kitties, but can only hear them. He can see us, but the cats know where he is and they stay away from the dining room. Slowly, we will move his crate so he can see them, but for now getting him use to their meows is enough and it is working well.

When he is on leash in house and comes upon a kitty, we are being very firm with him to ignore. He does listen well, so it's just going to take time and patience.

I hope you're giving him TONS of high value treats for his great behavior! A good time to reinforce, "good quiet!" (It also helps to make the crate a very high value place )

Excellent!! just go Slow!! Even if he is doing super, dont rush it!!! I dont want to see a "reward" picture of Odin with kitty fur hanging out of his mouth
