I know most of you are on raw, but can anyone suggest (if possible) how to make Odin chew his kibble. He gulps it down whole. At meal times, we are hand feeding him small amounts at a time, but he still swallows the kibble whole.

I may go the dehydrated route from Honest Kitchen (can't do the raw thing) but in meantime, I don't think it's good for him to just swallow his food whole.

I don't really think there's much risk In swollowing whole kibbles. My Frenchies do it because their teeth don't line up. Lol. But if you soak his food with water first, he will have to take bites of the soggy mus.

I wouldnt worry , I had read somewhere that they are not really meant to chew, their stomachs are very acidic and they usually just gulp large pieces. There are times where Ill give Sadie a kibble for a reward and it will go right down and she wont even know she got something. Even when I feed raw, large pieces of chicken will go down, Ill have a mild heart attack but they are still alive and kicking.
If you want to slow him down, you can put a toy or something in his food bowl.
