just cleaned up the puppy kennel, the litter-box, some toys. Awfully quiet Luckily Branco is still here, he will be picked up next saturday. So we still have some action in the house. All puppies found nice homes, have had the first pictures coming in of them in their new homes, they are doing well
Soon all will be back to normal, Ivil was SO happy to go on the first bike-run last week, she ran SO fast the first part, couldn't keep up with my feet paddling
Bittersweet moment...

Yep, i know the feeling..our 1puppy litter left friday and i miss him. Raising in the house is different than in the puppy kennel. I do miss a litter when i raise them in the kennel, but this one special puppy..

Glad to hear the pups all have nice homes. Always hard letting them go and hoping they will be as well cared for as you have done, and that they turn out to be what you envisioned when you first planned the breeding.
The quiet house really is bittersweet.

Time to start researching pedigrees for the next litter, even if it won't be right away, it's still fun. (I may have to get on your list next time----these last pups were almost too much temptation.)

Here's hoping they go out in the world and make you proud!

Congratulations and condolences

Well, you will have your house back, and the puppies start their new adventures.

So far, only nice reports from their new homes. I do raise them in the house, but the bigger they get, the more they are in the kennel, not just because they destroy everything , but also because you KNOW they have to leave
I also feel it's good when they leave, but the first one to go, and the last one, those are hard Right now I'm over it, and happy with the result of this litter so far, and like Chris says, already busy trying to find another nice male for the next litter. And also busy searching/waiting for the perfect female pup to add to our home So plenty of nice things to come

Sweet little babies. I'm glad they got good homes:)

From the outside looking in, this went fast, from breeding, to whelping to off into the world.
Not so fast if you are the one with the paper towels and the mop bucket. And some pups are more special to you than others too. I have placed pups that I would miss for months, then when I finally saw them again, someone else had put their 'stamp' on it and they were finally no longer mine, no longer what I remembered.
So enjoy the freedom. While it lasts.

Oh my goodness I can't imagine raising in the house!!! I enjoy having puppies around too, I'll be sad when mine are gone too but happy to see them go their new homes all at the same time.
