Odin was basically done recovering from heart worm treatment when we adopted him. My husband and I are so thankful by all that treated him and gave him a chance. He was treated in Nov and had his 4 month checkup and the results were NEGATIVE!!!!! :wtg: :wtg: :wtg:

He will be rechecked again in 2 months and if still negative 2x a year after that!! Vet said he is in incredible "athletic" shape. :player :orange:

This is by far the best news ever!! P-A-R-T-Y!!! :party2: :jive:

Glad the treatment was successful without any complications. Heartworm investation is prevalent here in the deep south because of the abundant mosquitoes. At present, we have 80+ degree warm, wet weather having had no freeze at all this winter and now the mosquitoes are thriving in huge swarms. During this time, I normally shorten my span between preventatives just to be safe.
