Cute video. I've been a K9 chew toy before (MWD bitework demo) and it wasn't that much fun, lol.

Thats too funny!! Yeah, that was better than being a real chew toy. I put a suit on once............once.

When I did it the bite didn't hurt, there's plenty of padding. What hurt was one time when a dog knocked me over and the suit was too thick for me to catch myself with my arms so my face hit the ground, lol.

It was very weird, I had Thalie bite me and she dosnt have a hard bite, I was not going to have my Mal bite me, he has a wicked bite. I did have a suit on but it still hurt a bit.

Got bites, and I'm scarred all over. Not as painful as you would think, Just pisses me off at the time it happens, so I don't really feel it.(They usually hang in the breeze for a minute or two after that.) I guess I'm a bit crazy, but I won't back down from a spoiled rotten dog, and some of them can be pretty fast.

I have been bite - in and out of the suit. I used to decoy quite a bit, but not so much anymore. I work puppies, and I think I am phenomenal at building a dog's confidence (I fall down a lot ). With pet dogs, I make it a plan to not push them to the point of biting. My goal is to teach them threshold, not cause them to cross it.

I agree, as far as training, that it's better not to push.
It depends on the situation your in at the time, and weather or not you have the time to mess with them gently. I've had "momma's little baby" come at me simply because I wouldn't let go of their leash when they wanted me to.

And yes, I wanted to be a k9 chew toy, and have been one, and I like it Pain is gain If I was a bit more agile and stronger, I would love to be a decoy
