Clean bill of health. Negative on worms. She weighs 17 pounds, vet says she should be around 20. I was told to give her a little more food and we will check her weight again in a month. Vet says shepherds tend to have trouble gaining weight as puppies sometimes.

Do a re-check on worms in a couple of weeks. If the worms are not shedding eggs at the time of the sample then they can't be detected at that time. Sometimes takes several samples to find them!
Glad she isn't ill, but always worth the peace of mind to know for sure!

She still isn't acting exactly like a shepherd puppy yet but she acts a little more normal every day. I have no idea what she went through before being brought in to the shelter. Right now she wants our 11 year old dog to play with her!

Took her in for the recheck. At almost 5 months old she weighs 24 pounds and the suture reaction has totally resolved. Vet is totally in love with her. Estimates around 50 pounds full grown.

Thanks! She's going to be the biggest dog I've ever owned! My GSD weighed 37 pounds. We were told she was either mixed with whippet or a very small individual. Both parents were supposedly GSDs and she was the runt of a very large litter.
