Tell us about yourself: I have owned Dutchies in the past and love the spirit that this breed has. I trained my 2 Dutchies in a fashion simular to PSA. I belong to a club here in N. Texas which trains in the working dog sport realm. I love working with this breed because they always seem to amaze me of their capabilities. The Dutchie is not often found in this part of Texas, but I hope to change that.

Needing info regarding kennel

I am looking to acquire another Dutchie and would like to expand the bloodlines in the region I am located in. Has anyone worked with or purchased a Dutchie from Kole Mountain Kennels? They are located in Alum Creek, WV, I would have to travel a great distance to see their lines and would appreciate any information regarding the kennel.

Sorry for the delayed response.

I don't know Megan or Scott Bays personally, but they seem to be active with there dogs and have a clear breeding program in mind. From reading posts on other forums, it also seems that they know what they want from their dogs and breedings and have put a lot of thought into it. I know of many, many people producing brindle dogs just thinking they can make a profit. I have never had that impression of Kole Mountain and would be inclined to trust them and their dogs, if all parties thought you were a good match.

Tell us about yourself: I have a small kennel breeding working line Dutch Shepherds, and just stumbled on this forum while browsing the internet. We train our dogs in police K9 work primarily, with hopes of being able to compete in the near future.

Not sure what part of TX you are in (I'm assuming your from TX lol) but we have a male puppy from our last breeding (my favorite from that litter) in the Houston TX area in training for police work. If you shoot me an email I can put you in contact with the owner if you would like to try to see one of "our" pups without having to make the huge drive first. My email is: meganbays@rocketmail.com

Thanks for the compliments Christie; it'll probably be Monday before I get back to your email, just got all the plants for our vegetable garden yesterday and I'm hoping to get them all planted this weekend! :)

Ahh Selena, they're alright.. I guess.. LOL just playing... I think they are pretty awesome, but I'm biased too. :D
