I check Craigslist everyday. I saw "mal puppies" and thought Malamute. I was horribly horrbily wrong. Poor Belgians and Dutchies are already starting to feel the effect of gaining popularity. The reason I think these puppies MIGHT have a better chance to get good homes than most is because the Sire is a Police k9. which means he probably came from good working lines and healthy dogs. Not sure about the Dam.

I am begging someone to adopt ALL of these puppies out before even one is sold to some unsuspecting "dog lover" who owned a pet quality GSD before. I am cringing inside. To think that Police k9 offspring will be avaliable to very irresponsible owners is a nasty thought. If everyone could band together and pass this around ANYWHERE you can before it's too late that would be great. I'm going to speak to the owner in a moment since they have their cell phone # on the ad.

I just TST messaged the number asking if they were the malinois breeders and I almost want to cry with the response they gave me.

"We aren't breeders but yes we have the puppies "

Oh noo I just know we are going to see "Vicous Malinois attacks and kills child" on the news around 1 year from now.

Cross your fingers I do a good job informing these people before offending them.

The more I am talking wiht them the more it seems like they are an OK working "breeder" but do not know anything about how to advertise or WHO to advertise to. Sadly nine of the 17, one puppy died, have already been sold. I am trying to take it slow and not offend them quickly by seeing how much the puppies were for sale, who were they sold to, etc.

The only problem is, if you help them find homes for the puppies, it will only encourage them to breed again. Or I should say, it doesn't discourage them.

I have some very interesting news to tell you guys.

The nine puppies already sold went to Dubai for military work, Two personal protection homes, one to a close friend, and two others they are keeping. They have 8 more to sell for $500 ..So truthfully They are not that bad at all. They are selling to good homes only and told me they knew and already talked to Jerry Lyda from Southern k9 Soloutions, the trainer I am visiting this May and have already talked to. Overall I can go to bed not having to worry about a Malinois mauling on the TV next year. Funny enough I have already mesaged many people before me and the owner got any further into a convo. I might have already set them up with another potential customer LOL. I work fast HAHA.

So if you are interested in a Belgian puppy with potential for sport/military/protection for a cheap $500 then you better hurry becasue they are going fast!

You are completely right. I do not know if they will sell puppies again but hopefully they do not. I feel guilty for that but at least I am hooking them up with working homes and not pet homes, a disaster. Next time they will not be getting my help.
