Hey long time away and doing an update

So I know I have been away for a bit and hope everyone is doing well and that training is going well for everyone. I have been slowly trying to recover from a torn acl which is taking forever and I am starting to go a little nuts.
On the plus side I figured out how to balance on crutches and get the pups to walk right in front of me without pulling or going to the right or left.

The chuck-it has become my best friend for tiring out the pups along with coming up with all sorts of new little tricks with marker training. Mostly off of the crutches but have found that the long walks are not possible just yet without them along with a little help.
Also had a quick fun question, I have a friend who just got what she was told was a pure dutch shepherd but we are not so sure on that. What the mix do you think she could be? I will post a couple pictures and see if we can't try and figure out just what this little girl is. (Its hard to tell but some of the hair on her back is kind of curly and is about 90lbs and could probably stand to lose about 10lbs or so)

No idea on the mix, but it sounds like you need to rent a wheelchair! You'd be flying!

Hope you get better soon!

How old is this dog? This is very close to what Kella looks like(rescue from shelter). She is now two, and the coat on her back smoothed a bit since I adopted her at 6 months. I'm still not sure of her mix, but have found a number of photos of dogs listed as "Black Sable Malinois" that have similar looks. I'm hoping to finally get some pictures up to get an educated opinion of her mix also.

She is 3 and a half years old. I haven't heard of Black Sable Malinois. I have seen a black mal every now and then. I will try to get a good front shot of her but its a little hard as she hasn't had almost any training and if you are close to her she is wiggling and trying to jump up.

I would say heavily German Shepherd, especially due to the size and the butt end. Is she camera shy? There aren't any good face photos, but then, Boaz is always looking at something else and not at me unless I make him.

Bummer about the ACL, from a fellow gimp
It's amazing how creative you get when you have to, eh?

I have a wheelchair and my male has done well walking beside it or pulling it slowly. I found a whole new use for the ski joring harness. It makes using the crutches or chair much easier. My female is just not sure about the chair she seems to think its some kind of game.
My guess on the mix was Dutch X German shepherd. Though it could be a lot of things. She does seem to look to have a lot of German shepherd in her.
We could start a club. Gimp dog owners who get together to share new creative ideas that we have come up with to make things easier.

Same guess, DS x GSD.
