Thank you for the sympathy. I had just given her a bath yesterday afternoon. Luckily, she only got a "Light" spray.

I'm lucky she has a very soft, easily handled temperment. 2 baths in one day, and another one later today could have been a nightmare otherwise. (This from the dog that sticks her whole head in the water while digging the bottom of the tank out.)

As for the Photos, if I can't get them on one way or another today, I'll have to get one of the less Technologicly (?) Challenged members of the family to help again. lol

OH No!!! I remember when Thalie got skunked, the smell is sooooooooo bad. Did you use the hydrogen peroxide mix? It really works, although for a good 8 months or so after if she got wet you could smell some skunk.

I used a spray called Fresh Ayre. Sprayed it on some "pet wipes" for her face, and on her fur pretty much all over. She spent the night on the second floor deck, and is only slightly skunky this morning. Will be doing a more thorough job when it warms up in a few hours.
I do keep chuckling over the look on her face when she came up to the sliding door window with mucus dripping off her nose, so clearly disgusted by the smell. I'm hoping once is enough! ( a lab/corgi mix went out and got sprayed in the face 3 times in a few minutes, then chased it again the following week)

Thank you. It was love at first sight at the Shelter. I don't know for sure if she is a DS mix, but My children bought a DNA kit for mother's day, and I will be sending that in this week. It won't show DS, but Belgian and German Shepherds are listed, as well as other possible breeds.( Border Collie/Kelpie might explain the wider set ears and occasional "Eye")
