not so bad

I trained a couple of " pitbulls " in french ring/mondio for about 6 years and after our 2nd dog died at the age of 12 we decided to try a dutch shepherd. I was a little apprehensive because I had work with a lot of mals...... man, this dog is an easy keeper! My old show bred amstaff was a tonne of work compared to this dog!

I find that the bulldogs were more "forgiving". They were very friendly with everyone and not at all suspicious really. They were generally much more happy go lucky. Our DS is suspicious at first with people and takes a bit of warming up. When we have friends come over we have to tell them to just ignore her at first. It's important to her that she makes the decision to be friendly. She has improved as she's gotten older.
