hi there i live in Barrie ontario
im looking for a brindle dutchie about a year old or younger
from a reputable breeder or rescue,i have owned a few dogs over the years and im now in a situation to get one
i have researched them for over a year now and they seem a perfect fit for my wife and i

I hope you are able to find what you are looking for in a dog. Given the age range that you are considering, maybe also think about rescue? You can find the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue info at their website (www.dutchshepherdrescue.org) or their PSA page (https://www.facebook.com/NADSR.DSRescue).

Everyone here is very helpful and you will get lots of great information. Please take a moment and visit the User Control Panel and create a signature for yourself that includes your name. Then everyone will remember where to send info to.

Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year!

Welcome! I love Barrie!
Attended a 5 day dog show at the Molson's Beer Park years ago :hic: --beautiful area!! Took us 12 hours to drive there from New York's Adirondacks, but it was great!
