Dutch Shepherd Forum

Hi! Brand new to the forum! We've just taken in a 2 year old stray from a shelter in Chicago and we were told that Lexington is a Shepherd mix. I've looked through so many photos of other dogs to try to get an idea of her mix, but I'm more confused than when I started research .

I think I've decided that Lexington is a Dutch Shepherd and a Whippet mix. Her ears naturally lay back along her head and she's so skinny that her body looks like a sighthound. She's light! She only weighs 40lbs (18kg) and she doesn't bark at all! I think she's more like a whippet than a Dutch shepherd, but I just pray I can confirm that she has some Dutch Shepherd in her because of how much I looooooove DSDs.

She's beautiful like a Dutch Shepherd, so, what do you think? Do you see any in her? I took the liberty of taking the photos with her ears up and listening.
