We recently lost our 13 year old, beloved, brindle shepherd Travis. We know his mom was a shepherd, but don't know what dad was. He was the most lovely, intelligent, intuitive companion and would learn to do anything in 15 minutes. He had the temperment of a saint and even let our daughters teeth on his ears.
Now we are stepping back into the world of puppies. We are a family of 4 and enjoy working with puppies and training them into well behaved members of the family and community. Our daughters like to teach lots of tricks. We are considering a rescue now, but have an application in at NADSR. Our new family member would be an inside dog with lots of time to run in the dog run, on the beach and jog in the park. I am enjoying reading all of the enthusiastic and intelligent posts!
