Weird question...maybe

I have noticed that 2 of Roxie's nails have changed colors. They were all black, now the 2 have turned much lighter, almost clear. I have never seen this before, but then again, I've never owned a brindle dog! Has anyone else ever seen this happen? I actually inspected her nails at class because it looked like something was wrong with them!

My dogs were all white, a few had very small black stripes, and they seem to all be getting darker as she ages.

I've seen a dog's fur change colors.....never their nails! My GSD started out mostly black and she grew up to be mostly tan.

Are the toe-tips that the nails in question extend from white or light-colored? I know my old dog Cedar (he was a brindle/white mixed breed) had clear nails on his white toes and black nails on his dark toes... Though I don't recall ever noting nail color changing from one to another before. *furrowed brow, puzzling* (made nail-trimming wayyyy easier on the clear toes, though!
No risk of nicking the quick 'cuz you can clearly see it!)
