I'm back!

Had a few things I was dealing with....nothing too horrible! One actually really good! First thing was that I had computer problems. All taken care of with my replacement laptop. Secondly, I was transitioning to a new job! A good one at that! No more retail! Anyway, Roxie is doing great! She's grown a lot and she's SO good! Nearly 50 pounds now and almost a year old. They estimated her birthday to be in January. She will be starting the advanced beginner's obedience class after the new year. (we really haven't worked much over break) I've given up on her ears, they just aren't going to stand up. I've decided to go with shepherd/hound mix when I register her for tags. Around here, they'll identify the brindle with a hound before they will a shepherd.

Welcome back!

Glad to hear you got a nice job, and out of retail, especially in time for the holidays. I remember my first 2 Christmas's working retail. Boy were they exhausting. You'll have to post lots of new pictures of Roxie too!

It was toy store retail nightmare! LOL I was rescued just in the nick of time! I will be taking lots of pictures of Ms. Roxie now that I have my weekends free again! I'm so amazed that I have a 50 pound puppy and a standing Christmas tree! LOL

And thank you!

PS
Be nice to the people working retail.....there really isn't any more in the back, it's really not their fault it's sold out, and they are being worked to death for minimum wage. ;) ;)

I so hear you and second that admonition! Before becoming a paraeducator, I, too, have done my time in retail! (Aaaand in food-service... I've figured out why so many "starving artists" become waitstaff... It's so we don't have to take the "starving" part of that cliche too literally! Make friends with the cooks and they take good care of you! ;) )

My younger brother also spent a few years post high-school working the kids' section at Sears... Even this many years later, he still has a PTSD response to anything with Pokemon on it!
