We've been in a deep freeze lately, temperatures anywhere from -30 to -40 not including wind chill. It finally warmed up to -25 and we took a nice walk today. Here is a picture of Diesel and his frosty face caused by his breath. My face, although less furry, looked similar.

I love that picture! I think Diesel needs to tell Odin to man up. He got a little ball of snow in between his pads last night on our walk tried to walk home on 3 legs.

Hehe, I know it sounds crazy but when it's been -30ish for many weeks, even a slight rise in temperature feels so much nicer! -20 is actually really nice to walk in (when it's sunny). The dogs are running off leash, which helps because they are keeping warm by moving fast and it doesn't seem to bother their paws. My cut off is -30 (when Diesel will go out for a pee and them b-line back to the door).

Towards the end of the winter when there is still snow and the daylight is quite long and temperatures around -10...I walk in a sweater!

I know that feeling. I used to live in Alaska. - 30 was tshirt weather after a couple weeks of - 50 haha

Where is the like button? Indeed cold! we had -23 c last year and it was freaking cold.. Usually it wont get very much colder as -5c.
