So, Mokume learned that when Bindhi (our cat,) clearly states she is not interested in playing, she really means it. She's been raised with dogs and for the most part is pretty tolerant, but Moko was getting a bit too exuberant for her taste and she let him know. Note the exceptionally startled look on his face and the white hook in his nose. (For those who don't have cats, or are unfamiliar, they will regularly shed the outer casing on their claws, that is what you see hooked in his snoot.) No real harm done to either party, Bindhi's claws are all still attached to her toes, and Moko didn't even have a drop of blood, it was a very superficial warning shot.

The other photo I just found to be a very charming "boy and his dog" pic... note the imaginary bow (bent stick,) and arrows, and the loyal hound looking in the same direction as his archer companion's imaginary target.

I wish my cats would do that to Geyser . I don't let her bother them overmuch, but there are times when she could use a tap on the nose. Mostly, they just head for the high ground.

Sadie gets it from a chiwawa !!! Poor fella, lesson learned.

Love it. I have one good cat with the dogs, and one runner. We often have shedded outer claws. No corneal ulcerations - I consider that a good day. Anything else and "it serves you right."
