mister Static has settled into the pack and is doing well. Started marker training and is having to track for his breakfast every morning. Coming along well. He already shows TREMENDOUS drive and he'd rather play than eat . His big brother maligator was not sure at first but is now playing well and they have wrestle mania every morning. Lech is good with him and not too rough (for a malinois )

I love those picture! I will show them to my fiancé. He expressed interst in getting a second dog (yeah!). Since this would be his dog to travel with him when we have to be apart, I put my desires aside and asked him what kind of dog he wanted. He pointed to my "malligator" , Rocket, and said, "One just like this."

So, sometime after our Autumn honeymoon, we'll be looking for a pal for Rocket. An easy going type for herding, sledding, hiking, tummy rubs...

Sounds like Static is well on his way...yay!

do your research on the Mali. In the post OBL killing EVERYONE wants a Mali and not this stupid Alpha Dog show. I've seen A LOT of them show up of late with little or no research done on the blood lines and everysingle one is a pup from a 'police dog.' I can point you to some awesome breeders that use Czech, French (awesome if you can get one), and Belgian lines herein the US. If bread properly, they are truly the 'lion and lamb' they'll never be as stoic as a dutchie though
