Wow, what a ride it's been so far! He came home with me one year ago today, a 6lb (3Lbs of that was ears) little firecracker who immediatly stole my heart. He is now a 75Lb BIG firecracker who is smart, fearless, driven, silly, playful and just all around great! He's done so well with his training and has a great personality, I still havent found the "off switch" that seems to be elusive to a lot of us here, I have however found a pause button that is working pretty well for now

I might not post much but i'm here taking everything in and want to thank everyone for the advice, insights and great pictures and stories.

How sweet

I just love him! His face is too adorable! Raven still tries the sweet innocent face with me. I think we may have gotten our dogs around the same time. I see you joined the forum the day before me lol! I was blessed with Raven on April 20, 2012 (my birthday), DH and I had been researching dog breeds that would make good guard dogs but also be a part of the family. I grew up with Germans & pitbulls and I was leaning towards a german but researching the Dutch and the Belgian breeds as well and then...I met Her! And that was it for me! Now were joined at the hip...literally she is sitting on my dang on hip and pinning me to my computer chair lol!
