My funny velcro dog

Funny story that I know you all will appreciate and hopefully get a chuckle out of. My husband laughed so hard when I told him this...
Background: the trainers at a local pet supply store have been after me to bring Tyson in for some training. I finally decided that he needed the challenge of focusing on me around several dogs in a close yet controlled environment, so we signed up after she gave him an evaluation. We get to start in the advanced class...YAY!!!
Tonight was class number one and she went through all of the exercises that are required to pass the CGC. He did extremely well in everything except for the sitting for petting (he's very wiggly) and being brushed by a stranger (what the heck are you doing, strange lady?!). Those 2 things he only did marginally well on, but I am sure with practice and shaping he will be fine. So here's the part all of you will appreciate:
Supervised Separation.

So she had me hand him off to another lady and go to the next aisle. So far so good...for about 30 seconds. Then the "talking" started..."ouuuwww...roouuuwwrarr." The trainer peeked around the corner and was like "Wow. I thought he was bomb-proof. He is really attached to you." So I was giving her directions to give to the other dog owner, who by the way was totally beside herself which made things worse, and the trainer starts laughing. Tyson was on the floor with his head UNDER the aisle separators trying to figure out how to get under them and raising heck because he knew I was over there.
We both just busted out laughing.
And then I thought of Autumn's haiku and laughed even harder.
