Rufus' first wellness check

My husband took Rufus for his first vet visit this evening. Would you believe the little guy is 29.65 lbs?! He's going to be massive. 
Also, this pup is SMART! He catches on extremely quickly, and is already holding his bladder for 3 hours at a time. He has "Sit" down to a T and we're starting to work on "Down". Food aggression is practically gone, but he still guards his bones. He makes no move to bite, just gets stiff and growls. He is completely fearless...we have yet to find something that phases him.
We are going to have to get one of those "Slow feed" bowls, as this pup wolfs his food in just seconds. We are hand feeding him right now to slow him down a bit...it's ridiculous.
