It's been quite a while since I've posted but I've been pretty busy. I got married back in June to the love of my life and moved out of my sketchy little apartment. My step-son is in heaven because he went from no pets and wanting a dog to having Harvey, our DS, Vlad, our GSD, and Paul, our GSD/lab mix.

Thanks, I'm truely blessed. If you asked me a couple years ago if I was going to be a family man I'd laugh at you. Harvey actually helped me down that path by teaching me patience and showing me there's more to life than just partying and living the typical bachelor life... but I digress haha


I was looking at this picture and noticed the resemblance. Mind you when he was younger I thought he looked more like the flying nun. This was when he was "guarding" my step son Julian during our visit to New York. He's quickly taken to being protective of his "Extended pack" and that even includes our friends that come over.


Harvey and Julian, they are inseparable... play together, sleep together...etc At 5 years old Julian has completely taken over feeding, watering and letting Harvey out... all without being told to at all, he just starting doing it all one day out of the blue.


And I can't find the picture of us with Harvey but this is my gorgeous wife, Melissa, and I together... I'm a damn lucky man

Awesome update! Sorry I didn't see this before, still trying to catch up on old posts and get current after my hiatus. Huge congrats on all counts! *big grin*

I'm not sure which movie it's from but I think it is from "two mules"...

I was going through some pics and realized just how much Harvey has grown since I got him last year... Also as Vlad (the GSD our roommate owns) has hit that 9-10month range he tried challenging Harvey for Alpha position. I've been letting them work it out as dogs will but I'm watching them like a hawk because Vlad sometimes pushes Harvey too far and the last result was a 2 inch scar on Vlads head plus he upgraded from Radar to Dish Tv for a couple weeks. After that Vlad has gone back to submissive but I don't think he understands the body language he throws out towards Harvey as being a challenge.


Poor Vlad...

But the cone didn't have to stay too long... didn't help harvey chewed it off of him... just like Vlad chewed Harvey's harness off of him.

As for Harvey and Paul (the roommate's GSD/Lab mix) it's situation normal, they've been best friends since pups...
