This is proof that Tygo can become possessed by other worldly or not worldly spirits. Those eyes... green... obvious sign. I'm sorry I had to share this with you, but you should know of the possibility. While everyone focuses on Zombies.... the DS are slowly infiltrating our families. Terrible.

i love this ! i think DEEEEP snow is the trigger that activates the creature lingering inside our DS.

we only get such deep snow on fairly rare occasions out this way.... but when we do it is soooo much fun watching the dogs navigate it and explore it. does Tygo leap vertically to advance through the deep stuff or does he try to plow forward through it?

ha ha, I love it!!! The kids wish we got that much snow here and I'm sure the dogs would have a blast in it!

John, yes he is quite a sight in the snow. He seems so light and does the vertical thing... and then burrowing for good sticks. I have some video but have not figured out a way to post that easily. (Ps. John Tracer and Tygo are only 20 days apart... Tygo 5-24-13)

Just did some desensitization with prong collar and light hold and hotdogs with my neighbor dude on his powerful snowmobile. This is not that hard as Tygo is pretty solid with any machine. Then with his dogs who are always loose but generally do not like Tygo's puppy energy and keep a distance if possible. Of course Tygo especially loves dogs that hate him. But boy that prong gets his attention and I do not have to do much... I just let him self correct (if that is the right term). So far so good on that front. I made him sit calmly near the big dog and just focus and treated. He can do it but given a choice.... mosh pit at a punk rock concert would be his preference.

And yes, while Tygo loves snow, I totally do too. The more the better. 3 years ago I had 10 feet in my backyard. We have had two very dry years so I hope the snow gods smile generously on us this year. This was our first winter storm of substance.
