So… I admit I did this willingly. Hendrix and I were at a local pet store and a rescue foundation was having pictures with Santa for donations… and the stars aligned and no one was in line, Hendrix seemed curious, profit was going to an organization that rescued dogs from shelters and needed the cash to rescue 3 dogs, so I bit the bullet and did it. First off the Santa was FANTASTIC and Hendrix even let him pick him up and pet him, which is a first when it's in that order. Second, he was totally fine with it. The little ham had everyone cooing over him and petting him, and he just looked at me like, "see mom? I can be good when I want to be." And then there's the total "because mom wanted it" factor. I figured since he's a pup I can get away with it. Probably won't ever do this again but it was fun!

And I "borrowed" this shot while I'm waiting for the photog to send me the digital download of it. She's an awesome photog that does ranch photography and donates her skill to rescue organizations.

oh, that is a great photo. rare you get good composition [ etc.] in these photos. she is really good. LOVE the cocked head. that and a really good Santa make this priceless.

lol yup Heather that's his "WTF was THAT mom?" look. I think the photographer started trilling or something and he was caught between the urge to investigate and bark.
