Hey everyone meet Taki!

One of the "Vrijheid Posse"; Taki, an 8mo Female Gold Brindle, arrived during the Arctic Vortex last Saturday.

She melted our Hearts on day 1!

Wow she's gorgeous. She looks a lot like Elli here. Congrats on your new addition.

Thanks! She's known as the "takanado" or "ten toddlers taki" based on her propensity to never stop moving and the effort required to watch her! Today I turned my back for 30 seconds and she was under the King Bed; upside down! I ran for my camera and she was in the MBR closet chewing on my MOST EXPENSIVE running shoes.... She sleeps on the bed between the wifey and I and if I scratch her back correctly she gives my better half a paw slap to the head...OOPS!

Nope, that's Odin. He's much larger and dorkier in real life.

I don't really have too many pictures of Elli. She moves too fast to get anything good, unless you count the blurry ones I have of her trying to fall asleep while biting her bed or shoving a toy into the camera, but that first picture you have with the play bow is her all the time, every dog she sees. I wish I could take pictures with my eyes because I occasionally catch her striking a beautiful pose like Taki in some of these here.

Elli ate my vibram running shoes the first day I had her when I slipped away to use the bathroom and she was locked in an xpen with the shoe when I found her. Never did figure that one out.

Beautiful dog. Nice, shiny coat. I-got-the-devil-in-me eyes. Congrats. (Whenever you drop by the pet store to replenish her stock of toys, drop by the liquor store to replenish your supply of equanimity.)
