Not necessarily a DS or mix... but walking through the school library I had to double-take at the cover of this book as I walked by! Flipped through it and the illustrations look nothing like a DS, but the photo-model on the cover made me think of two of our favorite brindle regulars, here!

OK, so Roo used to be a model when she was a pup. After she hit her awkward teens, she found that the jobs weren't coming in anymore. It got pretty ugly at that point, the bad behavior, the partying, that incident with Charlie Sheen....

Once she hit adulthood, nobody knew her name.......

We're now in negotiations with VH1 for a "Where are they now?" episode.
