Hendrix's 1st Bday

Today was all about Mr. H as he experienced his first birthday. A lot of people told me dogs don't know but Hendrix knew something was special about today. From going to his favorite dog stores and letting him pick out treats or toys (it all ended up treats) to letting him do his first "off leash" day at the field where we do morning walks (he was on a 30 foot drag line and an e-collar in case of squirrels or rabbits), he knew something about today was special and kept an eye on me all day for more special surprises.
His total haul was waaaaaay too many treats I'll regret giving him over the coming days but it was worth it. I think he enjoyed his birthday!

He fell asleep with me holding the horn he was chewing.
