Hello from Arizona!
My puppy Mishka is 4.5 months old now. We scooped her up from a couple that was planning on taking her to the pound at 7.5weeks because they couldn't take care if her. They told us that she was full German Shepard, but we knew differently just by her looks that were too cute pass up.
We are still not 100% sure what breed she is, but I'm convince she is at least part Dutch Shepard... Posting some pictures to hear some opinions.
Some facts:
4.5months and about 35-40lbs. What's her size shaping up like?
Her ears are not completely up..yet? They stand up when she is alert and hyper, but when she is sleepy and mellow, they flop to the side. Think they will end up standing?

I agree with you she's at least part Dutch Shepherd if not full. She should be an awesome friend. At that weight & age she is bigger than my guy was who ended up being 75 lbs but it's definitely possible she is just growing faster than him and she'll plateau at not quite as big. Typical weight for a female is about 60-ish I believe...

She is such a great dog, high energy and smarter than I ever would have imagined. I would put money on her being full DS, but I just don't have anything to back it up but her looks.
I was worried she was small for her age... I feel like I have seen pictures of other DS pups that look much bigger than her. Maybe the fact that they have just been pictures?
Anyways, this being my fist DS dog, I have never heard of nor seen one before my research. But I am absolutely in love!

I'm seeing a lot of GSD in the face and maybe a bit of a pit? It's hard to tell from the photos and puppies are so hard to identify until they're older since they're still growing and wonky. Either way she's adorable! Love those ears! Typically around 5 months you could double the weight/size and have a very very very rough estimate of the end result. Not always super accurate though.

With the white blaze going all the way up and under her chin, I'd be inclined to think either a mix of DS, or a GSD mixed with a breed that comes in brindle. In some of the shots, her face looks a little wide, like in a bully breed, but her snoot does also look shepherdy.
