Video of Koenig's protection

This video is from yesterday. It's @ my friends club, which we applied to join. It was our first time on the field, with a new-ish (learning) decoy, AND Koenig's first time with a right handed sleeve. It was also a brand new hard arm, and cover. He's only been on a competition sleeve once, and that was with a very experienced decoy (Les Flores).

He hasn't done any bitework for at least a month, but he pulled through for me. It was fun- many of the members in this club hadn't met a DS. Koe gave them a good introduction. He had a decent track, gave me AWESOME focus in OB considering it was a totally new environment for him. Had his first bark and hold in a blind, and the TD was comfortable enough to try sending him around a blind, to start training the blind search but opted not to- he was tired. No point in rushing.

Anyways, here is a bit of video a friend took for us. It's taken on his iPhone, so was not the best quality- he opted to edit it into a 'old' style movie clip. :)

Now see, to my way of thinking, that's such an important statement and concept; your dog was tired, so next time. Good for you!! So many people would've gone on with it anyway, rather than listening to their dogs. I really respect this.

The video was great. Your friend does such a nice job with the editing! :wtg:
