While it was cute, and the dog was wonderful, I think the parents are beyond stupid to allow this kind of thing; to take that kind of chance with a baby.

Just saying...

that was my first thought...... although I know that the baby could do the same with Thalie and I know she would NEVER growl or anything.

I thought it was cute but quite frankly I would NEVER take that risk with my child...

My nephew used to play tug of war with his mouth, with the dog. My sister is completely anal about her kid, but finally she just stopped fighting. She said "Your dog is going to bite you and you are going to deserve it. Don't come to me crying."

I know its harsh, but as a kid, you could have beaten me within an inch of my life and I STILL would have found a way to do stupid things with dogs. I have been bit more than anyone I know (when I was a kid). Instead of developing some crazy phobia - I became a crazy dog person

mmhh, depends on the dog maybe, but if our nephew is coming over, I always watch the dogs, even though it can be good intention, they still get hurt pretty badly with those teeth on soft baby-skin
But play with food...never!
