Hello Everyone,
Im Saralee and My Dutch Shepherd is named Rogue. She is now 19 months old. I brought her home when she was just 8 weeks old. Before that, I was introduced to Dutch Shepherds at a K9 demonstration. I fell head over heels. I started researching just what made this breed so special. After about a year of thinking about it and if this was the right breed, my husband agreed that we could find one for me. After months of searching and getting feedback on breeders, we found one that suited us.
Right after that, I found this AMAZING site. If it weren’t for the terrific contributions of the members here, I would have so many unanswered questions. I am greatful to Michael and Lisa, who keep this place alive.
I am crazy about Rogue. I am looking forward to many many years enjoying her.
We currently live in California and Utah. Our home includes, me, my husband, our 10 year old daughter, an old male lab, and a matli-poo male.
Rogues role is pet/protection right now, but I am open to doing other things with her. My first hurdle is getting her recall down even with distractions.
Nice to meet all of you.
