Tell us about yourself: Howdy,
We are a family of rescues, (yeah, me included), in Southern California. My wife and I currently have two dogs, a Golden Retriever/ GSD mix by the name of Morgan, and our DS mix(?), Dinga Roo. We had never even heard of a Dutch Shepherd before until we were stalked by this nice lady in the pet store who asked us if Roo was a DS. Dang if that lady wasn't on to something. I just found this site, so here we are....

Kevin

Dinga Roo, my best friend.

It is with a broken heart that I post that Roo has passed on. She has been by my side for 14 years and was a brindled beast and comedian. Sometimes both at once. She may or may not have been a pure Dutch, but y'all made her and I feel welcome here, so here is the only place I'll post of her moving on. I don't know what else to say, but thank you to this community.

So sorry for your loss. :-( The toughest part about having a dog is losing them.
