NYC Policemen and Firefighters are not invited to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero..... The mayor claims there isn't room for them. They weren't invited on that day in 2001 either. THEY JUST SHOWED UP AND DID THEIR JOB ! Along with their dogs!

I'm not doubting the validity of the story, but wow--doesn't that seem like one of those stories that is too odd to be true?????
Where is Corinth in New York? I'm in CNY.

We are about 10 miles north of Saratoga Springs, where the horse racing track is. Just at the beginning of the Adirondack Mountains. Small town, very nice here, On the Hudson River. Takes me about 40 minutes to get to Albany, 3 hours to get to Syracuse, 3 hours to Montreal, 4 1/2 hours to NYC. Not much of a dog area for training clubs, other than obedience I think the closest is about an hour away.
What town are you in??

I'm in Bridgeport (or as I call it: Bridgeport-a-rico). It's about 30 minutes east of Syracuse. Town size is about 1500. A dog club opened west of Syracuse last year, about 45 minutes from me; when I spoke with the guy, he was leaning toward focusing on French ring. He has a Mal and claims no difference between them and the Dutch. Besides him, no one in this general neck of the state ever heard of Dutchies before mine.
Love the 'Dacks...and admittedly, am a bit envious.

You're welcome anytime you want to come over this way. Got my first DS about 15 years ago and there are still none but mine in this neck of the woods.

I have had both Mal and DS, there is a difference.

I agree, each one is so different. Just like people, they each have their own personality and what ever else they brought from the different lines they are from.
