I notice that Sugar limps slightly on occasion. (She broke her left front leg at 6 months old.) It doesn't seem to be after lots of exercise necessarily or other obvious reasons; I'm thinking may be weather related. She had 2 pins put in her leg and they are still there. The vet said if they bother her they can be removed. Because its just every once in a while I'm inclined to not put her through that, and I'm not sure that is even what it is, or it may be, but wondered if anyone else has had similar experience and had any suggestions of what may help...if anything. She can run like the wind and plays with other dogs and is overall fine. Its just that every once in a while...

since my days in scuba diving, I know how any airspace in your body affects you during the slightest pressure change, i.e. tiny airspace in a badly filled tooth, eating beans before diving , blocked airways, etc. When the weather changes, the atmospheric pressure changes as well. May be Sugar's pins created somehow an enclosed airspace that makes her hurt whenever the weather changes. Just a thought..........

hmm, so if that is the case and they were removed it should help ...

I doubt there is a way to check if the pressure change is the source of the pain

I know when the pressure changes alot of horses colic. Gas pressure changes in their gut, or they could have eaten too many beans before diving.
