I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but opinions on a Dutchie breeder please?

I'm not the best at looking at breeders, but I've met two of CherCar's and looove their personalities. But that was 2, owned by the same person

Kels,
I'm not familiar with this breeder. I would guess that they are breeding FCI lines from what they say (I don't see working titles on their breeding stock, but did see one conformation title).
It all depends on what you are looking for in a pup/dog, what your goals are. I am generally suspicious of breeders who breed a lot of different breeds; I'd guess they're generating a lot of pet quality dogs.
That may be exactly what you're looking for, I don't know

.

I think this is a good choice for a working dog.

I have to admit, I don't know much about her dogs other that what is on their website. But Cheryl Carlson seems very active in dog sports, especially in the old UKC dog sport that has been discontinued. She was a licensed judge for that. I believe she also trains and is a certified decoy.
She shows her dogs in UKC conformation, but they are not FCI lines that I can tell. It seems she shows her dogs against other CherCar dogs. But if you can, why not go for the title?
If you have time next June and can make it to Michigan, she will likely be there showing her dogs at the UKC Premier. This is the biggest show of the year. I will be there a couple of days, and there will also be somebody with 2 long-hair DS there. It is June 14-17 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Last year there was a PSA event in Cincinnati with some DS. (I saw a guy with a very cute puppy in training there.) A lot of people here probably do that, and can let you know if there's anything in your area.

Thanks Carole! I sent them a quick email just to keep in touch!
And I wish I could make it up! I'll be in MO though!

Well, it's every June at the same place, maybe one year you can make it.
