Dutch Shepherd Forum

Hi everybody,

My name is Olga, I live in Wrocław, Poland, with my husband, kid and 4 dogs: 9,5 cocker spaniel Sunday, 7 y.o. Pyrenean Shepherd Vigo, 3,5 y.o. shorthaired Dutch Shepherd Eri and almost 3 y.o. Pyrenean Shepherd Brava. We train agility and a bit of frisbee.
Eri was supposed to be my husband's dog for schutzhund, but somehow she ended as my agility dog, she is in LA3 class now (that's the highest class according to FCI rules) and just lacks one leg to becoming Polish Agility Champion .

I'm glad that I've finally found a forum about DS that is in language that I can speak .

Photos and videos will follow soon .

Welcome! Cant wait to see some pictures !

So this is Eri:

And here's the whole gang:

From the left Eri, Brava, Vigo and Sunday .

Eri is gorgeous! Love your other dogs, too! Welcome!

Welcome Rauni!
There is a very familiar look to your Eri Tell us about her bloodline?

Welcome and nice looking bunch of dogs!

Thank you

Eri's mother is DISCOVERY Qalt Mercator, father NITRO v.d. Vastenov, you can find her full pedigree here - click on "pedigree".

Hello Olga! Here's Kamila from Zielona Góra - we've met at Agility Extreme Cup Wrocław 2011 Nice to see you here

great looking group!

Beautiful pictures! Welcome to the forum.

Welcome
Very nice looking "gang" (the 2nd from the right is the gang leader?)

Welcome! What a great bunch you have!

Welcome to the forum!

AND you started out the way EVERYONE loves: PHOTOS!

Welcome

Thank you all for nice welcome, the forum is really interesting I just hope I find the time to follow all the interesting topics

Hi Kamila, of course I remember you Do you know there is a litter of DS planned in Poland for spring 2012 and another one after Eri's sister in Czech Republic .

Very nice looking "gang" (the 2nd from the right is the gang leader?)

I AM the gang leader . As for my dogs, it's really difficult to tell who is the alpha dog amongst them, I don't actually think is so simple and linear as some people would like to see it. For instance, Brava wins all the balls and Sunday always has the best spot on the couch and Vigo tries to discipline everybody, but apart from Eri, noone really cares (and even Eri cares less as she gets older ).

Now for some bragging - agility videos of Eri:

Welcome Olga! And Eri and the rest of the canine crew. Eri is stunning!! Those action shots are absolutely great. I find it fascinating that this forum has expanded all across the world encompassing a spectrum of DS lovers! Please keep the photos coming and all that Eri is doing.

I just watched the videos. Can Eri come live with me?!? What a fun dog!! She is delightful. But I do realize that you put much time into training her. I've just gotten into agility myself, self-teaching, as there arent any clubs or trainers locally. Fun all the same.

How did you teach Eri to back up through your legs during the frisbee routine?

Thanks for sharing.

the Frisbee routine is by far the best! I love how she backs up through your legs!! Fantastic

OMG I love the backing up too! That's neat

Nice to have you on here I'm just getting into agility with my Rippster, it's nice to see another Dutchie running a course.

oh and btw, I love those little igloo like tents people have set up off the field in one of the agility vids.. that's a great idea for those windy days!
