my name ist stephanie and we have 2 dutchies.
boyd´s bullriding geremy - he is now 5 years and trained in mondioring, SAR and K9
and there is his halfbrother boyd´s bullriding I.Q. he is trained in KNPV and mondioring.

wow, nice ! Marco usually "mutulates" his frisbees like that too. The only frisbee that holds up so far is his jute frisbee. Jute statt Plastic :wtg:

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

Tell us about yourself: Had a GSD, am getting a DS puppy in a few weeks. Compete in agility, obedience, and cross train in tons of stuff. Found out about this site from the DS Rescue yahoo list.

Tell us about yourself: Artist, Mother, Equestrienne, Educator, Homesteader wannabe, dog-lover. Not counting my current DS, I have had 2 GSDs and 3 rescued mixed-breeds. All of these dogs were rescues, except for my childhood GSD, who was a gift from my parents when I was 7, and my current DS who I bartered artwork for from the breeder. Maiyou, one of my current dogs, is a Pitbull/New Guinea Singing Dog of 13 years old. Still very active and "Young" in nature. I now also have a DS named Mokume, (pronounced "Moh-koo-meh") or "Moko" for short. Newest member of our pack is Freyja, a random mixed hound I rescued during a horseback trip in the middle of a state forest.

thanks for all the compliments about I.Q. and the pics. i love to go outside with the dogs and my cam. photografy is a big hobby :g_wink:

my dogs have to work a lot, and so it´s very important that they can be "only" dogs at the leisure time. i love to see them running, playing and all that. :DSlove:

@katm4110: oh yes !!! i´m from austria and we have a lot of snow there - in bavaria as well, but we have not realy mountains here, and sometimes i miss "my" austrian alps a lot.

@schlussdibusti: hahha, i know :) normaly my dogs are not allowed to play togehter with one toy (after a few time the guys will fighting), but 2 day ago they found the frisbee and kill it :evil: :whistle:
when i´m playing with the dogs and a toy, the toys are living a long time :whistle: the frisbee was from "rogz" and you can use it for swimming - its flying a long distance and we had a lot of fun during the summer.

Marco likes to carry the frisbee like a "sandwich" So first criteria for a frisbee: it must be flexible otherwise it will shatter right there. If the frisbee survives the bending, Marco likes to apply his understanding of aerodynamics to it, i.e. rips out the middle part, so it will become more a flying ring than a flying disk. Only the jute frisbee has withstood his usual "alterations". But when it gets wet, it doesn't fly very well. Nothing is perfect. :whistle:
