Does this dog look like a DS and / or a mix?

I am new to Dutch Shepherds as a Breed type and wanted to know if this dog appears to be a DS or mix type. I have a couple more pictures. She is 45lbs. at a bit over a year old. She is not mine but perhaps might be although I understand she is pretty high energy. Am thinking about it right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could you post more pictures? From this one alone, she looks more sable than brindle, and that muzzle looks short. Also, there is way too much white there on the chest to be a full DS.

looks shephardy/pitty/huskyish and maybe a couple other ?? to me... kinda looks like a funky large corgi I personally don't see DS in there

Now that you mention it, that last picture looks very corgi. Maybe that's where the ears are from. The body looks pittie/ish. Whatever the mix is, she's a cute dog.

After you mention it, I can imagine Corgie. But sometimes she looks like part DS. I think one photo is distorted perspectively so her body is smaller?

I would say Pit because of the blocky face. Pits do come in brindle so its hard to say. The ears scream DS though. Could be a few things in there.

Thanks. I think she is totally mixed up now and just maybe a small smidgeon of DS. I really thought there was a chance she might be more something else and my gut is telling me pit. I guess when I see her in real I might have a better idea. Guess she needs "regular exercise" and that is why, and the ears, that I thought I would ask here. I do like the idea of a strange corgi mix. Haha.

Ya, my guess is corgi/pit....but you never really know!

Pitt/German Shep mix, maybe some aussie cattle dog in there, but many pits have standing hairs from the terrier/bull terrier influence or in her case pit shaped ears with shep prick-ness. She is a dark sable which is a german shep color. Shes cute as mess though!

I'm going to add my hat into the "Pit-mix" ring... The first picture you posted had me going, "That cheekbone and jawline... Pit!". I've had two half-pits (one of whom is still alive, Maiyou was the youngest of my 3 dogs and is now 12. She's being fairly tolerant of and patient with the new DS pup, when she is getting snarky with him and reaches her "had enough" point I occasionally remind her that compared to HER at this age, he's pretty mellow and Cory and Cedar put up with wayyy more from her! )

Your girl is wicked, wicked cute, though, regardless! Those ears could have come from a number of sources... While it is true that some pit/bully breeds will have ears that stand, they're not usually so large, so there's definitely something else. Does she have a close, sleek, single-layer coat, like a regular pit, or does she have an undercoat? (Both of my pit-mixes thankfully got their coats from their non-pit parents and had the undercoat, which is better for our winter climate here in VT.)

I am going to have to ask about her coat or look at it. I have not met her yet. Yes...pictures I have seen of pittie ears don't seem to look like that at all. GS ears so look like that it seems. I was suspect of the jaw line for sure. Very strong.

I know....she is kind of cute. Sadly though not any DS it appears......but her personality sounds DS like. Even if she were part GS, that would help me to decide on her. I love GSs.
