Facebook page.It makes complete sense that you'd want to pass on him if there will even be the potential of a problem in the future. You may have rushed into crowd interactions, but sometimes with kids you can't perfectly plan out everything anyway. It's nice that the shelter offers a trial period and hopefully that other family still wants him.
On another note, it seems like your worry between him and Sugar was resolved, so you know a little bit more about how she'll do in the future with a buddy.

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I found out that the other family that was interested has kids too, so I am curious to what was decided on that...I am going to check in with the foster mom in a week to see how he is doing.
Ya, they were the PERFECT playmates for each other, so that is too bad. Perfect size, energy level, play style, etc. Maybe we can get together for play dates...
