Oh the thoughts we Dutchie owners have....
I was driving down Main St today and at the light where there is a Dunkin Donuts, there is a big coffee cup dancing around. I had the girls with me and of course the Dancing cup caught Thalie's eye. Any other doggie owner would probably think "oh, that looks good, I think Ill go and have a cup of coffee". Us............ DECOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill let you imagine the rest !

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

HAHAHA Sue. When doing decoy work, any time the dog sees someone in a suit, or just the suit, the dog gets so excited, they know they can bite it. Thalie would go nuts when she saw either just the suit, or when I brought her on the field to do bite work. So, Imagine this HUGE coffee cup dancing around on the corner LOL. I had fantasies of this cup running down the street with Thalie and Sadie hanging off his legs.

- Tell us about yourself: I have a 12 week old dutch shepherd that my trainer got for me to train in schutzhund. This is my 1st dutch shepherd, I have always had german shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs.

We are a family of rescues, (yeah, me included), in Southern California. My wife and I currently have two dogs, a Golden Retriever/ GSD mix by the name of Morgan, and our DS mix(?), Dinga Roo. We had never even heard of a Dutch Shepherd before until we were stalked by this nice lady in the pet store who asked us if Roo was a DS. Dang if that lady wasn't on to something. I just found this site, so here we are....
