Tell us about yourself: Artist, Mother, Equestrienne, Educator, Homesteader wannabe, dog-lover. Not counting my current DS, I have had 2 GSDs and 3 rescued mixed-breeds. All of these dogs were rescues, except for my childhood GSD, who was a gift from my parents when I was 7, and my current DS who I bartered artwork for from the breeder. Maiyou, one of my current dogs, is a Pitbull/New Guinea Singing Dog of 13 years old. Still very active and "Young" in nature. I now also have a DS named Mokume, (pronounced "Moh-koo-meh") or "Moko" for short. Newest member of our pack is Freyja, a random mixed hound I rescued during a horseback trip in the middle of a state forest.

No, no they dont

For Sadie, if your face is at her level, that alone is premission for her to come into your space and lick you.

Sadie kills me, she has no boundaries, she swoops right in and dosnt realize how big she is, BUT she WILL fit in my soup pot quiet well.

I'm always highly entertained by how much my son and Moko are like the same spirit split into two beings... both are bright, active, clever, stubborn, well-meaning but quick to react to perceived slights, have wayyyyy more energy than I can field, and both have absolutely no concept of where their bodies end and other peoples' bodies begin! The two of them interacting together is... is... comparisons fail me... :pint:

I've got a good one to add to this of Odin and Elli. I wish I would've had a real camera so it wasn't so blurry. Can you spot Elli?

Yes, that would be Elli's glowing eye. I find them like that a lot. He's got a good 30lbs on her and thinks it's hilarious to hold her down.

Tell us about yourself: DS and Mal foster newly approved aug'12 by NADSR and ABMCR. high-functioning Autistic in nyc/hamptons in my 60's. Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. He died july17,2012. i am dying without him. www.youtube.com/tracesobaka www.dogster.com/dogs/637612

i have so many violations of personal space, mostly thanks to the TWO Xanders [ from Kentucky - now living in VA. and my TexXander]. last year i posted a photo of Saki sitting very purposefully on VA Xander's head when he had just had TOO much.
all of these are Saki and TxXander. the 1st one is the only recent photo of Xander's insensitivity to personal space [ not that he has changed with maturity - i have simply tired of documenting his hourly transgressions ] and the one that i used in the current ''friends'' contest [ which i thought was outrageous even for him]. the others are all older puppy shots [ tho Xander only turns 12 months next week ]. the 2nd photo shows Xander's true caffeinated self. Sakima wondered if he was going to survive this puppy; then Tracer arrived to divert Xander's attention.
