Trying to understand a new commer in to the family

Its great she is trying to understand what you want. Like Sharon and Heather stated. Only treat when you call her and she comes right to you. If she comes when you dont call, no treat.

when she recalls to you all of the time, to echo Sharon s suggestion, when you see her really intent on smelling a smell, recall, she needs to recall to you no matter what she is doing. This way if she is really intent on something under a horses foot, you can recall her and she will come instantly.

On an advanced note, but to give you an idea, we would train the dogs to recall when they were running full speed to get a tug toy stuck in a fence on the other side of the field, we would send the dog to retrieve, then recall the dog. They are to turn on a dime and come back to you. You want her to drop everything and come back to you.

Yes this week end she will have lot of training
It will be her first walk in the forest.
I will bring her on walk and my girl friend will be on horse , so we will teach her to fallow us with proper distance.
I call her when ever i want to take a picture and look how she poses
I am so happy , she is great !!
I don't understand how people can abandon such nice dogs !!

i forgot to say , second day when she came home she vomit and yesterday night also .
Do you think its because of food changes or its too much to digest ? or may be because of her surgery !!

I think seem to be going well.

The throwing up? It could be anything from she eat grass or horse dropping or she's doing too much too quickly after her surgery. I waited a couple weeks after my dog’s surgery before getting into anything. I just kept it low key.

Dogs will eat grass if their stomach is upset but throw it up later. My rule of thumb is 20 minutes after whatever they eat it's coming out one end or another. Watch that it's not runny coming out the other end.

Is she running a temperature? Have you taken her to a vet for a check-up?
Remember they have a lot of energy it's just not always a good thing to let them expend all of it a one time. They have nutty spastic time where you need to tell them its quiet time.

I work during the day Dutch has the run of the property. He's rearing to go when I get home, but I make him come in settle I have dinner then we're off for a run through the escarpment and the stairs.

Not speaking toward how much, if any, DS she has in her, but both my DSs had/has a penchant for occasional stomach distress, with no apparent pattern that would indicate why. (There's a lengthy thread from last year or earlier this year about that...you could advance search under Steph90 (?) and vomit since the OP may have posted originally under something different.)

Since you haven't had her long, this isn't necessarily uncommon, but keep track of when and what comes up (food, bile, foam) as it happens. You may find that once she gets accustomed to you, her expectations, her new life, etc., that it passes. Sometimes it doesn't, so if you keep track, it'll give you a better indication what may be causing it or if it is "just her." (If it continues, wouldn't hurt to consult a vet with your notes...for the good that that may or may not do.)

Are you familiar with the oldies song, "I'm A Girl Watcher?" I could sing the title chorus as "I'm A Stool Watcher" (or vomit watcher). Keep your eye on her stools/vomit as a general practice, too, so you know what's normal so you can tell when they aren't.
